Contemporary Archaeological Museum of Aosta
BRAND IDENTITY

The MegaMuseo, Contemporary Archaeological Museum of Aosta, holds more than 6,000 years of history and presents itself as a place of dialogue between past and present, material and immaterial.
We were involved in the development of a communication plan that included the evolution of the entire visual identity, the creation of multichannel communication campaigns, and the design of specific exhibition content within the museum.
The new visual language of the brand identity is based on the concept of transformation, layering of time and the relationship between matter and spirituality, using essential forms and colors that the visitor finds within the museum itself.
Institutional Campaign: one place, 6,000 years of civilization
The institutional campaign is based on the ideas of time, civilization, and transformation within a single space. The visual focuses on one of the most distinctive elements of the site: the sacred post holes, dating back 6,000 years.
The claim, “Un luogo, 6000 anni di civiltà” powerfully conveys the museum’s historical and symbolic significance.
Artifacts Campaign: the breath of 6,000 years of stories
The multi-subject campaign is dedicated to the archaeological finds, with each visual highlighting an object from the collection. Through a textured visual treatment and a color palette consistent with the original tones of the artifacts, each poster narrates an aspect of the MegaMuseo: from the value of memory to inherently human gestures, from transformation to material. The claims create an emotional and layered narrative consistent with the museum's mission.
I'll tell you about an object: temporary exhibition space
Within the museum itinerary, we were responsible for designing the “Ti racconto un oggetto” showcase, the first in a series that highlights and enhances specific exhibits. For this one, dedicated to two types of oil lamps, an accompanying graphic design was devised that would clearly and engagingly explain the unique features of the two artifacts on display. The layout integrated explanatory and didactic elements, enhanced by a visual narrative consistent with the museum's own language.
