Lumadea is a brand that produces cosmetics and medical products based on snail serum, extracted through a cruelty-free procedure and with careful attention to sustainability, the environment and social impact. The brand's request was for the development of a new brand identity, starting with the naming, that could be used on all communication materials, both printed and digital, ranging from packs to e-commerce and social media editorial plans.
In the Lumadea naming, the snail is the protagonist of the verbalization, but it is accompanied by a powerful image, recalling an aesthetic ideal of a deity, such as a goddess of beauty. A graceful, elegant and refined font was chosen for the lettering, which immediately conveys the high quality of Lumadea products. The logotype is crossed by a thread representing the snail's path and finishes inside the O in a spiral, forming a snail. The Lumadea range includes several lines, the most popular of which are Essential and Fresh. So, it was essential to design a global and versatile image that would preserve the brand identity with unchanged effectiveness.
The Essential line is the most comprehensive and representative in the Lumadea range and is the mouthpiece of Lumadea's corporate vision and values. The Essential products compose a true wellness and skincare routine that we have summarized in the Fibonacci number series, exploiting its relationship to the snail's spiral. Each product has been associated with a digit in the series, giving immediate recognition to the individual cosmetics and the line.
The Fresh line, which encompasses products with purifying properties, maintains the same elegant graphic structure as the Essential line, but is distinguished chromatically by using sage green, flanked by foil gold.
The new brand identity also stars on Lumadea's social profiles, which have been completely revamped, thanks to a consistent editorial strategy across all platforms.
